No Kill Shelters

A "no-kill" shelter is an animal shelter that does not kill healthy or treatable animals even when the shelter is full. At Meals for Pets, we make it our commitment to the animals that we only work with non-profit 501(c)(3) no-kill shelters, as we believe no healthy animal ever deserves to be euthanized. We have believed this from the beginning, and will believe it until the day euthanizing sheltered animals becomes illegal nationwide, we guarantee it.

Our Story

Animal shelters are extremely underfunded and have very limited resources to aid abandoned and abused animals. Here at Meals for Pets we believe business’ can use their resources to really make a difference in the community. We are encouraging a new global social movement to help modify consumerism by giving back to our animal shelters. We believe the power of giving back can inspire a chain of positive contributions that can be beneficial to our entire animal community. To do this, we will be donating up to 15 meals every time someone purchases a shirt on our site! The amount of meals we donate is listed below each product!

About The Shelter

Froggie’s Pond is a Michigan based 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization. They provide long term sanctuary for Stray and Unwanted cats that have been diagnosed with FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and/or FIV (Feline AIDS). They receive almost daily requests to take in additional FeLV and/or FIV cats from shelters and individuals from around the country. Sadly, they frequently need to turn away these pleas for help because of limited space. That is where we come in! We are donating meals to Froggies pond to help provide additional funding to give them the ability to continue rescuing and saving animals in need! Their address is 3070 West Michigan Ave Battle Creek, Mi 49037 and their phone number is (269) 288-2847 in case you would like to donate additional funds directly to them!
