Q: How many meals are donated for each item purchased?

A: We take great pride in the meals we provide to sheltered animals across the country. The amount of meals donated is always shown below the product you are purchasing, so you will always know how many meals you are personally donating. 

When we started this mission to end animal euthanasia and increase pet adoption nationwide we asked ourselves, what is the absolute maximum amount we can donate to our shelter partners and still be able to cover our expenses? The number we came up with was 20-25% of our sales amount. This includes the meal donation and other events we hold for our shelter partners. 

Q: Do you partner with animal shelters?

A: Anytime a person, business or organization helps our furry friends in need, we love it! At Meals for Pets, we have always and will always only partner with Local, No-Kill shelters across the country. We feel the best way to help animals is to support local small - mid size shelters do the great things that they do by supplying meals to the animals they support. This lets them free up their other donations so they can do what they do best, help adopt out as many animals as possible!

Q: Do you donate the meals directly to the shelters?

A: In order to provide as many meals as we can to our shelter partners, when an item is sold we donate equivalent funding to provide the appropriate amount of meals for the item that was purchased. Since the shelters purchase food for the animals in bulk, we are able to contribute more meals by providing the funding directly to the shelter.


Q: Are you a 501(c)(3) organization?

A: Meals for Pets is not a charity organization. We are a for-profit, for-purpose, privately owned company. We partner with Local, No-Kill animals shelters across the country and provide them funding to purchase meals for the animals they rescue. Like most companies, we have overhead such as utilities, employees, costs of producing the items we sell, and campaigning costs to reach as many dedicated animal lovers as possible! To date we have donated thousands of meals and hope to be able to donate thousands more! 

Q: What is your return policy if my clothing does not fit?

A: We understand that purchasing online can be difficult, so at Meals for Pets we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will help you exchange for a different size, or if you would like even provide you with a full refund, no questions asked. Plus, even if a refund is issued, rest assured that your meal donation will still be made to the shelter. If you are unsure about a size or item, please reach out to our support team at and we will usually respond within 1 business day, we’re glad to help!

Q: How long will it take for my order to ship?

A: In order to provide your donation to our shelter partners, all products are created upon your order. To ensure all items are quality inspected by our team of well-trained cats and dogs prior to leaving our facility, your order will ship within 10 days of ordering. After items ship, you should receive them within 3-5 business days via UPS or USPS (depending how fast our delivery dogs can run your order to your house!)

Q: How much does shipping cost?

A: We charge a flat rate shipping fee of $4.99 for any order less than $59 shipped in the US. Once your order goes above $59, your order will ship free! Not to mention all of the extra meals you will provide to animals in need. 

Q: Where are my items shipped from?

A: Your items are shipped from the great state of New Jersey, printed right here in the USA. Every shirt is quality inspected by our furry friends to ensure your shirt arrives exactly how you ordered it.

Q: Do we ship internationally?

A: Yes we do ship internationally to Canada, the UK, and Australia. We also ship everywhere in the world except North Korea! Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery, our delivery dogs can only travel so fast! Shipping to Canada is $9.99 and shipping to the rest of the world is $16.99. Please note that these prices DO NOT include customs charges in your respective country as every country has different fees that are applied to parcel services.
